Administrative History | Holy Trinity was an ancient parish church, serving most of the township of Blacon cum Crabwall, and part of the city of Chester. In 1960 the old church was closed, and its parish was divided between the new church of Holy Trinity Without-the-Walls (see below) and the Chester parishes of St. Peter and St. Oswald.
Holy Trinity Without-the-Walls opened in 1960 as a parish church for Blacon (formerly served by Chester Holy Trinity, Chester St. Oswald, and Great Saughall parishes). |
